D'Souza Article

Hello classmates.

With blogging and RSS no longer solely the domain of geeks who publish in the wee hours and becoming more mainstream, I believe it certainly could prove to be a very powerful tool in the toolbox of the educator.

D'Souza writes of students commenting on one another's work prior to publication - this would sit well with the trend (particularly in 3rd and 4th year Higher Education) for peer review or even for review amongst academics. I also like the concept of students using blogs rather than paper journals for writing assignments and of the teacher using a feed aggregator to track when students submit.

Unfortunately the link from the article to blogmeister at http://epnweb.org/blogmeister returns a 'File not Found' and a search of http://epnweb.org doesn't reveal much on blogs.  But if you're interested, you can read more or sign up for an account at  http://www.classblogmeister.com/

Looking forward to reading others' comments.

Cheers, Aly
